Chess Explorers

Welcome to Chess Explorers, a fun and engaging course designed for students in grades 1–5! Whether your child is new to the game or looking to sharpen their skills, this program introduces the timeless strategy game of chess in a supportive and age-appropriate environment. Each weekly session combines interactive instruction, guided practice, and exciting game play to help students develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and sportsmanship. Students will learn how to set up the board, understand how each piece moves, and explore basic tactics and strategies, including check, checkmate, and openings. By the end of the course, students will have the tools and confidence to play a full game of chess, challenge their peers, and continue their journey as budding chess masters!
