Basic 1 Skating

The Learn to Skate Basic Skills program teaches the fundamentals and foundational knowledge of skating. The six progressive levels Introduce essential moves, including forward and backward skating, stops, edges, crossovers, turns, and mohawks. Skaters progress at their own pace. Basic 1 Skating is designed for children with no prior skating experience. Subsequent levels should be entered only after being passed by an instructor on their current class elements.
