Stories That Inspire: A Storytime with Best-Selling Author L’Oreal Payton

Evanston Public Library

Evanston Public Library invites families to a special author visit and storytime featuring Amanda Gorman: Poet and Activist by best-selling author L’Oreal Payton. Children will enjoy a live reading of the book, take part in a fun craft inspired by the story, and have the opportunity to purchase a copy to take home.

L’Oreal Payton is also the owner of Evanston’s first Black-owned bookstore, Zora’s Place, located in Aux Evanston. Join us for a joyful, creative program that celebrates storytelling, community, and inspiration!
