Violet Goes Voting!: Storytime & Mock Election

Join Evanston author L’Oreal Payton Thompson, owner of local business Zora’s Place, for a special storytime celebrating her newest children’s book, Violet Goes Voting! After the story, kids will get to be the voters! We’ll talk about why voting matters, how people use their voices to make choices, and then hold a fun, kid friendly mock election where everyone gets a chance to cast their very own ballot! Come read, learn, choose, and make your voice count!
