The DYN Demo Fund

About

Village used to demonstrate the scholarship funding and registration capabilities of the platform.

Overview of scholarship funding and registration capabilities of the platform:

The first step in setting up scholarship features on the platform is creating a scholarship cluster/village (like this one) and a scholarship program. Our Dev team then links the scholarship program and the cluster to a specific fund (e.g. A scholarship initiative of $500). Then users are imported into the program. In the import file, users are assigned an amount of funds which represents the amount of scholarship dollars they can use towards program costs.

Users can then log in to their accounts and see their funds on their profile. When they explore programs in the Explore page or in the Scholarship village, they will see a Request to Join button that allows them to begin the registration process and apply an amount of funds that’s specified by the user.
